Bicentennial Park, located on-site at the Marina Village, features lush landscaping, a children’s splash park with 42 water jets, shade sails, restrooms, and a concessions stand. There's also a half-acre sandy beach designed for “family fun” with kayaks, jet skis and other water craft available for rent.
Peanut Island, just 300 feet away is a local favorite for boats of all sizes. The island includes campgrounds, a snorkeling lagoon, BBQ pits, a fishing pier, and restrooms.
The "Sand Bar"
The "Sand Bar" located due north of Peanut Island - there you'll see hundreds of boats filled with people enjoying hundreds of yards of sandy flats. Music, Frisbees, and footballs fill the air.
Marina Village is less than 1 mile from the beach. Depart the marina and walk, ride, or drive over the Blue Heron Bridge. Go straight ahead for two blocks and you will find a wide public access beach.
The marina is located just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean with quick access to great off-shore fishing. Fishing in Palm Beach County is arguably some of the best in the world. The winter sailfish bite, and the spring mahi-mahi runs and skyrocketing kingfish are all found in abundance. Offshore fishing includes dolphin, marlin, sailfish, grouper, snapper, kingfish, cobia, wahoo, bluefish, and assorted sharks. Inshore fishing spots include Munyon Island with favorite catches of pompano, jack, croaker, permit, bonefish, and snapper.
